    Unissued / Unused material.

Location of events unclear / unknown.

M/S two men walking along garden path and chatting. They sit down on a bench. We see several takes as they light cigarettes and tell how they were captured and put in a camp, and the treatment they received before escaping. Some good material.

This clip's current date of 1943 is incorrect.

Firstly, the two men explain that they were taken prisoner during the Battle of Arnhem - this took place in September 1944.

Secondly, at 05:43, one of the soldiers talks of "the American breakthrough at the Rhine". That took place in Spring of 1945.

I believe, then, that this footage was shot in mid-1945.
