United States of America. Mr Samuel Insull appears to have had problems with his business dealings.

A crowd gather outside a court building. Pressmen take photographs of a man with a white moustache. The man is then seen getting into a taxi. CU of elderly man (presumably Mr Insull) and another man. Mr Insull speaks to camera - he talks of arriving in America with nothing but $200 and a promise of a job with Thomas A Edison. He says that he did everything he could to save the investors in his company. "I was not dishonest".

N.B. Mr Insull apears to have been involved in a financial scandal of some kind.
