    Various shots of soldiers of the Indian army in training. We see the men playing instruments in a military man, exercising on a parade ground, launching small boats on a river and transporting vehicles across on floating bridges.

    The men are also taught a trade - we see them learning the trades of blacksmiths, sign writers, wheelwrights and iron workers, oxyacetylene welders, brick makers, brick layers, carpenters, typesetters and printing press operators, draughtsmen and surveyors. Soldiers are seen building roads and bridges. M/Ss of Indian soldiers marching about a parade ground.
