Full title reads: "Assisi. In honour of St. Francis. Over 1,000 little song birds, so dear to the Saint who called them his 'sisters and brothers' set free on 707th anniversary of his death."

    Assisi, Italy.

Young children, many in the uniform of the Italian youth fascist movement, gather around cages of birds. Nice CUs of children (not in uniform) looking at caged birds.

Crowds of people watch as the cages are opened and the birds fly out to freedom.

Shots of nearby trees filled with flocks of birds.
