  • Description

    Hertfordshire.

Opening intertitle reads: "This country's too quiet", muttered Hurricane Hutch, as his motorcycle bumped a few chunks off our countryside." L/S of Hurricane riding his bike in a field. He comes towards the camera - he is standing on the saddle and jumps back into the seat as he gets close. L/S of three men standing in and by a river trying to construct some sort of bridge. Hurricane is visible in the distance riding his bike full pelt towards the half completed bridge. He stops just before the end of the bridge and intertitle reads: "Go back and try another way? - Not on your life said Hutch - Watch!" Hutch jumps the river - we see this from the side. One of the men falls backwards into the river - in shock presumably! We then see the jump from a slightly different angle in slow motion.

M/S of Hurricane rolling his trouser legs down surrounded by four buddies. They all seem to be congratulating him on his daredevil stunt. L/S of Hurricane running along and going through a gate.
