  • I'm not sure why the title of this clip would be "House in the Tree Tops", as it has nothing to do with houses or tree tops!

    The appearance of several Austin A55 Cambridge Mark II cars during the clip means the footage could be from as early as 1959. Many cars are seen in the clip, and not a single one of them has a post-1964 registration plate. So I think a date range of 1959-64 is nearer the mark than the current range.

    "Various shots of the street buskers The Happy Wanderers playing." - they're playing on Shaftesbury Avenue, opposite the old "S Weiss" lingerie store.
