Title reads: "Hey Ho - many a year ago!" Eve's Film Review Item.

Intertitle reads: "Over 30 years ago when many of us were toddling infants, one of the first screen 'comedies' saw the light. It was about a man and a punt - and two very 1896-ish girls!"

Turn of the Century comedy scenes as a man punts his boat along river with two girls sitting at stern with parasols, he lifts his hat to camera in passing. His pole starts to get stuck in the water.

Intertitle reads: "You see, ladies, no one tried to help the poor man of those days, although the end was inevitable!"

Predictably the man holds on to the stuck pole as the boat moves away down stream and he falls in the river.
