    Full title: "Here's Luck".

    A look at talesmen and lucky charms through the ages. Location of events unknown, much of item consists of illustrations and cartoons by Joe Noble.

    L/S of regiment of soldiers and military brass band on parade ground, they have their lucky mascot, a goat, with them. C/U of student in mortar board and robes holding large rag doll. M/S of students gathered around "famous Highlander" - a bronze statue in a Scottish University? C/U of woman holding a tiger cub.

    Various illustrations of swastikas in their original Asian settings. The narrator explains it is a Buddhist symbol for happiness and good luck. He also makes wry comment on its continued importance today.

    Various illustrations of lucky symbols: an 'S' on side of old houses to ward against fire, a serpent talisman for long life, seal of Solomon (Masonic Emblem), pentangles, Egyptian eye, various Chinese symbols, shamrocks, hot cross buns (against fire), horseshoe.

    Nobel animation - a cartoon man on stage waves goodbye. A horseshoe falls and knocks his head into his shoulders - ouch!
