  • The British Grand Prix (not Grand Prix D'Europe) at Aintree on 20th July 1957.

    Stirling Moss & Tony Books win in a Vanwall (VW5). Moss had problems with his car, so he took over from Brooks (who was suffering from injuries sustained at a previous race.
