Titles read: 'Heigh-Ho FORTY YEARS AGO!'.
Berlin (?), Germany.
Several shots of an old man turning the handle on a machine that is claimed to be the world's first cinematograph projector, invented by the brothers Skladanowski just over 40 years before.
We see clips of archive footage, presumably seen through this projector, showing a horse-drawn coach followed by a fire engine on a city street, then a large crowd of people marching along in some kind of military parade and lastly, general street scenes with trams, trains and pedestrians moving about.
