No titles. Commentator introduces "Those radio big shots Haver and Lee" (C/U of each of them with animated explosions).

    Pathe Studio, London.

Haver, in evening dress, attempts to recite 'Twas Christmas Day In The Workhouse'. He has an American accent. He is interrupted by Lee, wearing monocle, who reads fat stock prices - "fat cows 49 shillings, skinny cows 30 shillings, other cows 10 bob, dirty dogs 4/6". Haver engages in some crosstalk with Lee, with the latter saying "Do you know my name? Sir Chester Drawers - my friends call me knickers for short"!

Havers sends Lee off and he returns with a feather duster, prancing about like a fairy, reciting "...Where mortals are, we fairies cannot stay". Havers mutters 'We've always suspected it'. Lee prances on and off again, then Haver calls him back and slaps him several times round the face (hard!).

They begin their patter; Lee talks about how short of money he is. They talk of dollars and pounds. A telegram is brought on. Lee reads it and is heartbroken - his girlfriend has married someone else that morning "The dirty cat!". Haver sell him some anti-love pills to ease his heart break - if he takes them he'll never fall in love with another girl. Lee puts the whole bottle in his mouth. An attractive blonde girl comes on and strokes his hair, caresses him, kisses him and walks off, giving him a 'come hither' look. Lee spits pills over Havers and runs off after her.
