    Various shots packed dance floor crowded with people taking part in a Twist Competition. Most are teenagers, they are hoping to beat the American record of 18 hours and 4 minutes of non-stop dancing. One girl tries to drink from a glass of milk while doing the Twist - she spills most of it. Time lapse shot of clock - hands spin round fast to signify passing of time. More shots dancers, tiredness is starting to take its toll!

    Various shots of dancers sitting or lying on camp beds in hall - they are allowed a 20 minute break every 4 hours. C/U record player. More shots dance floor, fewer competitors as marathon drags on. M/S young man suffering from fatigue being stretchered off dance floor. M/S of competition official presenting women's prize to Mary Anne Moules - she is still dancing after 20 hours. Various shots over-all winner who danced for 32 hours and 31 minutes - Kevin O'Brien.
