    Altrincham, Manchester.

Various dogs (mostly Alsatians) are taken through guard dog training at Britain's only private guard dog school run by Alexander (possibly Alexandra) Bennett who we see in C/U.

A firework is let off to test reaction to loud noises. "Kim" is teased with a piece of cloth, she hangs on to it, shaking her head. A man with a gun pretends to attack Kim's owner, the dog grabs his padded jacket. Guard dogs jump through hoops and over jumps. Fabric draped over a hoop is set alight and a dog called Fritz jumps through the ring of fire.

Dogs are put into the back of a van marked "Stamford Guard Dogs" and are driven away. The narrator explains how guard dogs are used in various situations and we see a guard dog in situ protecting a factory. He stands with his handler behind a wire fence barking.

M/S of a man pretending to tamper with the load of a lorry - guard dog jumps out of the lorry window and attacks the man, grabbing his coat.

Note: newspaper article about the guard dogs on file.
