  • The area in the video is the "Isthmus" of Corinth and not Nauplia. The wreck lies at the eastern entrance of the canal. The canal and the bridge blown up by the German army during the retreat and the repairs was done by the end of the war by American and Greek engineers. There are some good photos of the canal here:
