"Various shots of Investiture of Greek soldiers in the field by high ranking officer (the officer wears small round spectacles)."

In fact, this is a military decoration of Greek soldiers from Prince Paul (the officer wears small round spectacles). This took place in 1940 on village Poptisti, north west of town Koritsa.

A proof of the above location are the photos of this ceremony, taken by Dimitris A. Harissiadis, which are in the "BENAKI MUSEUM" in Athens.

Here is the location of the village.,20.7093518&spn=0.0253881,0.0446388&q=Pocestë,+???????&output=classic&dg=ntvb

I wrote this comment in memory of those Greeks that have died for their country and win the war against Italian invasion in 28th October 1940.

    Kind Regards,
