  • "CU New diesel engine" - actually it's an overhead electric locomotive, namely Class EM2 number 27000, named "Electra". This loco has been preserved, and now resides at the "Midland Railway - Butterley" heritage railway.

    "SV Royal Scot in station" - the Royal Scot is the name of the passenger train service, and is pulled by two locomotives. These are British Rail locomotives number 10000 and 10001, also known jointly as British Rail Class D16/1.

    "GV Diesel train "Sir Brian Robertson" in platform" - this is the Warship Class locomotive number D800, named Sir Brian Robertson.
