Full title reads: "Croydon. Germany's 34-ton Air Liner has accommodation for 34 passengers in 2 storeys - one of which is in the huge wings!"

    Croydon, Greater London.

Massive aeroplane - the D2500 - taxies across the airfield at Croydon. It is a very strange looking propellor driven aircraft. It is a civilian airliner for the German airline - Lufthansa (there is a sign reading this on the nose).

Pan across the wingspan of the plane giving a good idea of its strangely bulbous design.

More shots of the plane taxiing.
