    No titles.

    Cologne, Germany.

Various shots of the Carnival of the Rhine, which this year has the theme of International Food. It seems to be sleeting or snowing and looks quite a cold and miserable day. People walk along and ride in floats wearing fancy dress costume. A marching band all wear huge apples or tomatoes on their heads. Some people throw food from floats and crowds try to catch it. Several shots of floats, each one depicting a different kind of food and its country of origin. Among them is a huge head made to look like Charles de Gaulle inside a massive oyster.
