MS For the third time in seventeen days, astronauts Command Pilot Thomas Stafford and Eugene Cernan leave the building in their space suits and climb into transfer van. LS Transfer van arriving at pad. Various shots, two astronauts arrive, Thomas Stafford shows the pad crew his large-size match in case there are further problems with take off, and they climb into their Gemini 9 capsule. The door is closed on them. LS The Titan rocket with the Gemini 9 capsule lifts off from the pad (no camera tilt with rocket). MS Cameraman filming the take off of this thirteenth manned flight in the US Space Programme.
