    Brentford, Middlesex.

Several shots show people working on a new garden centre being constructed in the grounds of Syon House. Gardening experts Percy Thrower and Jim Middleton study a map; logs and other debris are cleared from the grounds; various shots of the work in progress; sheds and small glass houses are put together; turf is laid; a statue of Flora, goddess of flowers, is hoisted into place on a huge column.

In the domed conservatory that was renovated for the coming garden centre, plants are put into a flower bed, rocks are hoisted into the rockery. Several plants and flowers are seen in shots of the finished areas in the grounds and exotic flowers in the conservatory. Sculptures are seen in the gardens; people wander around looking at them.

Note: there are cameraman's notes on file. Cuts exist - see separate record.
