  • "M/S of a man stood behind a bar" - the bar is that of "The Victoria" pub in Strathearn Place, London. It's still there in 2012.

    "Laurie Lupino Lane" should read Lauri Lupino Lane.

  • The lady between Lauri Lupino Lane and Dorothy Ward is Violet Blythe, the wife of Lupino Lane and Lauri's mother.
