Funeral service of General Lattre de Tassigny's only son who died in battle in Indo China aged 23 and his 2 comrades, also to honour all French war dead in Indo China. Tassigny's son will be taken to Mouilleron in the Vendee province.

  • The funeral seen here is that of Bernard de Lattre de Tassigny.

    "General Lattre de Tassigny's only son" - the man in question here is General Jean de Lattre de Tassigny.

    To avoid confusion with like-named places, "Mouilleron" should read Mouilleron-en-Pareds.
