Note: Giusseppe Garibaldi, the Italian patriot, died in 1882. This may be the funeral of one of his sons - Menotti, a soldier and parliamentary representative or Ricciotti, also a well-known soldier.

This looks likely to be the funeral procession for Menotti Garibaldi, who died in 1903. (Ricciotti Garibaldi died in 1924, and the film clearly looks older than that date).
