    Item title reads - France takes complete control. German police disarmed and "dumped" outside occupied area. Dortmund, Germany.

    Shots of German police lined up with their belongings, they are marched out of a gate and climb onto a lorry. People line the streets to watch as it drives off. M/S as they get out and walk off down a road. C/U of a sign on a train saying 'Essen Paris'. Possessions and children are put on the train and the doors are shut. L/S as the train pulls out of the station, the signal is changed to 'Coln'. Various shots as French soldiers search various vehicles and people's possessions. General Degoutte watches his troops.

    Intertitle - 'Le General Degoutte remet la Legion d'Honneur aux officiers d'Etat-Major Belges ayant participe a l'occupation de la Ruhr.' M/S as General Degoutte poses and touches a soldier on each shoulder with a sword.

    Intertitle - 'Apres la ceremonie, l'ironie du sort a voulu que l'inoubliable grand-pere de Guillaume II, passat en revue les inoubliables poilus francais.'

    French troops march past and back again, the General looks on, he shakes hands with another soldier and salutes.
