  • Description

    Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Several shots of the Empire flying boat taking on passengers then taking off from Sydney Harbour. Air to air shots of the plane and aerial shots of Sydney as we fly over the city and harbour. On board we see passengers looking out of the windows, being served food and relaxing in their seats. Brief shot of steward jiggling a cocktail shaker.

Commentator says this is the first experimental air service from Sydney to Southampton, taking 85 flying hours.
