L/S of a carnival. There are different coloured floats making their way up the street, various people are walking beside them and girls in costume are doing the cancan in the foreground. There are big crowds at the side of the street. M/S of the crowds sat watching the parade. The narrator tells us this is the Battle of Flowers festival in Jersey. C/U of the cancan girls walking past the camera with their skirts in the air, C/U of their suspenders and stockings. L/S of the crowd. M/S of a large fish made out of flowers going past in the floral parade. M/S of people dancing on a float, C/U of two dancing girls. L/S of the crowd watching the parade, M/S of the dancing girls.

M/S of a float approaching the camera. It is a Roman Chariot with three horses made from flowers, it drives past the camera, behind it are two Roman Centurions with costumes and shields made out of flowers, this float represents Ben Hur. There are also two ladies in the float, one of them is sat on a throne, the float moves past to reveal the crowd in the background.

M/S of another float with a red carpet and throne made from flowers, the camera moves up to show a lady in a long white dress holding a fan, and a man in a red military uniform. M/S of the crowds watching. M/S of an ornate float with a fountain, garden and steps all made out of flowers, a girl in a long white dress is stood in a shell shape, she is Miss Jersey Battle of Flowers. M/S of a floral float with a wedding cake on the front, bridesmaids and the bride and groom are stood on the back. M/S of the crowd, C/U of the bridal couple. M/S of the crowd again. M/S of a float with a long red carpet leading up to a girl sat on a chair in front of a giant heart shape with stars on it. Various shots of the crowd. The parade ends with people dismantling the floats and pelting each other with the flowers. Various shots of the crowd taking flowers from the floats and throwing them at each other. M/S of people laughing and throwing flowers.
