Full titles read: "Flashing hoofs on the Ice - America's champion trotter breaks all ice track records before thrilled throngs on frozen St. Lawrence River."

Clayton, New York, United States of America.

Several L/S show men in a 'trotting' race on a cleared ice-track; they sit on a sulky, harnessed to a horse and zip along at a terrific speed. A crowd watches at the starting line. Brief shot of three horses coming in towards the finishing line; it ends before we see exactly how they come to a halt - with great difficulty I expect!
