"Locations of events unknown - could be Merton studios" - close, it's Merton Park Studios.
"the actress seen in this item looks very much like Patricia Roc. Pat Roc and Paul Carpenter were in the "The Hypnotist" in 1957 - could this be the film" - the character name of "Miss Mary Foster" is visible on the door at 01:58, which confirms that this film is indeed The Hypnotist. And yes that IS Patricia Roc.
