Paul Carpenter introduces Peter Noble and his 'Film Gossip'. He talks of Mario Lanza's comeback in 'Serenade' - Yul Brynner "a name you don't know", who has just completed 'The King and I', 'Ten Commandments', 'Anastasia' - Laurence Harvey and 'Three Men in a Boat' - John Bentley - Max Bygraves amongst other items. He ends by saying that Joan Crawford will star in 'The Story of Esther Costello', with Esther played by Joan Collins! (Heather Sears finally won the part of Esther, but I would have loved to see the two Joans together, especially with Collins as Crawford's adopted daughter!)

April Olrich dances to swing music played by Dave Shand's Band. The dancing is an odd mix of classical ballet moves and jive. Lots of pirouetting, which doesn't mix too well with the attempts at 'cool' movements.

Reel 2. John Fitzgerald reviews 'Johnny Concho' with Frank Sinatra - 'The Trouble With Harry' by Alfred Hitchcock - 'Hell on Frisco Bay' with Edward G Robinson and Alan Ladd. Film clips are missing - combined print exists. Fitzgerald says we are going over to Muir Mathieson and orchestra, but this section is missing.

Paul Carpenter signs off, then sits in a director's chair with his name on the back, with Peter Noble to his left and John Fitzgerald to his right. They all say goodnight. (Brief section of spacing.)
