  • "Peggy Full (sp?)" - actually the singer's name is Betty Paul, (she sings another song from the same film in clip 2829.01).

    "medium tempo samba number sung by three men and a woman" - their names were Celia Wright, Ken Flower, Leslie Want and Vincent O'Hagan.

    "woman with attitude and a foreign accent - presumably Peggy?" - again, that's Betty Paul.

    "cut to orchestra conductor (Muir Mathieson?)" - yes, that's Muir Mathieson.

    "who introduces a cancan theme by Rossini" - it's the can-can from La Boutique Fantasque.

    "John Pertwee" should read Jon Pertwee.

    "Barbara Riscoe (sp?)" - that IS what the commentator says, but actually it's Barbara Roscoe. Here's a photo of her from back in the day.....
