John Parsons meets stars arriving at London Airport. He meets Eartha Kitt, good shots. He then goes to a 'showbiz' party at Elstree, featuring, amongst others, Diana Dors - Richard Todd - Michael Pertwee - Magda Miller. Rita Hayworth is seen arriving at a London Station on the Golden Arrow. She is in London to film 'Fire Down Below'. She is seen at a press reception at the Dorchester Hotel. Martine Carol is interviewed by John Parsons. She is here to star in 'Nana' with Charles Boyer. Stephen Boyd introducing Robert Ottoway who gives his opinion of Hollywood after his visit there. He is questioned by Ruth Shell & Christina Lubich. (Two up and coming 'starlets') He talks of the challenge of television and the 'new' British stars - Joan Collins and Valerie French explaining how they are groomed for an American audience. Mr. Ottoway then explains how he is departing to Cannes almost immediately after the interview.

Stephen Boyd introduces Muir Mathieson who conducts the 'Warsaw Concerto' with Eileen Joyce on the piano. Muir Mathieson mentions the background to the piece, explaining that it has written during war-time by a British composer. Aerial shots of bombs falling from plane. Warsaw Concerto, played in full. Stephen Boyd introduces MacDonald Hobley who interviews Moria Lister. She mentions the play she is in - 'The Long Echo' and the films - 'The Deep Blue Sea' She also talks of her daughter (18 months old) and her work in television. (Good close-ups of Miss Lister)

Hobley then gives the answers to the quiz from Film Fanfare no 10 and announces the winners. He then sets the questions for this weeks quiz by playing various sound tracks and sound-effects on a reel-to-reel machine. (loss of picture from 01:53:28 to 01:53:38)
