    The annual conference of the Institute of Directors starts at London's Festival Hall. GV. Festival Hall (superimposed title Festival Hall). LV. Directors assemble. LV. On stage with Viscount Chandos (Oliver Lyttleton) making speech. Amidst applause. Lead for voice. SV. Viscount Chandos starts to speak (natural sound): "My Lords Ladies and Gentlemen... no one can stand on this platform without a feeling of exhilaration... the capital which they have in their care runs into thousands of millions of pounds." SV. Viscount Chandos continuing: "As a body who take a responsible view... it is in that spirit that this conference will conduct its business today." Several shots of the delegates listening to the speech. Sir Philip Warter is seen seated with other directors.
