    West Ham football team seen in training.

    Charles Paynter is their coach. We see him in C/U wearing shirt, braces, tie and a large moustache. He laughs. M/S of the team standing in the goal mouth wearing long sleeved polo necked jumpers and shorts. They lark about a bit. L/S of the pitch. Several players stand around and the goalie kicks a ball which comes towards him. Ruffell and Moore are filmed in slow motion both running for the ball. They bash into each other and one of them falls over.

    The attacker V.M. Watson is featured. He smiles in C/U. He laughs and nods. L/S of him taking a shot. We see it again in slow motion. Moore is shown kicking and heading the ball. C/U of Ruffell, then M/S of him heading the ball. Intertitle reads: "A 'slow action-impression of Hampson, West Ham's custodian..." but shot is missing. Incomplete story.

    "Ruffell and Moore" are Jimmy Ruffell and William Moore.

    "V.M. Watson" is West Ham legend (and all-time record goalscorer) Vic Watson.
