Swimmers take part in the annual swim through Paris, along the Seine. Full titles read: "ENTHUSIASM! Hardy bathers brave icy waters of swollen Seine in annual swim through Paris."
L/S A small group of people can be seen in the centre of the picture swimming down the Seine (it looks very cold!). There is also a number of rowing boats and what looks like a power boat on the river following their progress. The Eiffel Tower can be seen clearly in the background.
Nice L/S showing countryside scene of the river (presumably just outside Paris). There are two small boats on the river. The swimmers can be just made out diving off the far river bank and beginning their swim.
NOTE: The story appears to be edited incorrectly. As the swimmers dive into the water after a scene which clearly shows them swimming in Paris!.
