  • The event took place on 23 June 1932.

The current list of riders has clearly been noted down from the scratchy soundtrack, so there are naturally a few errors.......

"Frank Carter" should read Frank Arthur.

"Vick Huxley" should read Vic Huxley.

"Dickie Smyth" should read Dicky Smythe.

"Dickie Cake" should read Dicky Case.

"Alec Lenton" should read Eric Langton.

"Ginger Reed" should read Ginger Lees.

"Bob McGuire" should read Gordon Byers.

"Nobby Kee" should read Nobby Key.

"Tom Sanders" may or may not be incorrect, the sound is particularly poor on that name.

"Harold 'Tiger' Steveson" should read Stevenson.
