    Winkfield, Berkshire.

At the winter training headquarters of Billy Smart's Circus we see M/S of a skiffle band sitting on the edge of a circus ring playing 'Rock Around the Clock'; pan right to show three elephants in blue jeans and patterned shirts dancing to the music on stools; another elephant on the ground wears a guitar round it's neck and waggles it's head to the music.

Several shots of the 'dancing'. Billy Smart Jnr stands by with a whip. C/Us of camels and a chimpanzee looking on. A small boy and girl dance to the music.

Note: brief notes on file about the footage shot.

Cataloguer's note: some of this footage could be viewed as degrading to animals.
