  • Description

Thomas Edison celebrates his 81st birthday and demonstrates a new lighting system.

    No titles.

    Florida, United States of America.

C/U of inventor and physicist Thomas Alva Edison with his wife in their garden on Edison's 81st birthday. Various shots of Edison sitting at a table in front of his house, demonstrating some kind of a new electric lighting system on a small circuit.

Several shots of Edison in his garden; he seems to be breaking off small branches from a bush and handing them to the men with him who examine the sap. More men appear; one hands Edison some paper, then takes it back to write something down for him (some sort of scientific data, no doubt).
