  • Description

    Florence, Italy.

Various shots of clergymen going into and out of a cathedral for a thanksgiving service. Soldiers stand to attention outside. Commentator talks of the city's hard won independence. After the procession of clergymen has finished, the crowd watches fireworks coming out of a kind of ornate statue plinth in the square - in daylight. Decorated cattle pull the plinth away.
