    A gift from the bulb industry of Holland to British miners. Chislett Colliery, Kent.

    M/S as the miners, wearing helmets with lamps attached, come up out of the pit. Various shots of the miners meeting the two Dutch ladies who have brought the bulbs, the girls served in the resistance movement during the war. M/S as men look at the bulbs and laugh with the girls. C/U of some of the bulbs. M/S as Lord Citrine, Ex-Trade Union Chief, plants the first row of bulbs and smoothes over the earth with a trowel. M/S as he talks to the Dutch girls.
