Duke making speech (natural sound): "President, Lord Provost Ladies and Gentlemen... First of all, may I say how pleased and honoured I am to become a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh... it's 405th anniversary, and also the very kind things which the Vice President had to say when he introduced me, and Sir, as patron of the College I give myself a very hearty welcome". SCU. Guests laughing. CU. Prince Philip continues: "I only hope, that these people who quite rightly believe that surgery is more than a craft will forgive me, but I look at it still from the point of view of the patient.
