    Thought to be Selected Originals from late 1940s material.

    Trafalgar Square, London. Mass meeting of striking dock workers.

    MV John Platts-Mill MP speaking. 'It comes at a time when the people of Britain are forming their ranks and though they don't all realise it, under the leadership of the workers of Britain, for the heaviest and maybe the decisive battle which will come in these coming days against the slashing of the standard of living which they are threatened. MV crowd moving about and putting on raincoats. MV Sam Mott Chairman, takes mike from Platt-Mills. MV Chairman calling for order as striker on platform calls out to unseen demonstrators. Chairman says 'When I first started this morning when I duly carried out the honours - order please, or you will be ejected from the crowd' Cries of 'Hear, Hear'.
