    M/Ss of Mr George Cockles preparing his home made diving suit on the banks of the River Thames. He puts the large square helmet over his head (it looks a bit like a television set). He then attaches an 80 pound motor car flywheel to his waist before climbing in to the water. M/S of woman pumping air into helmet with pump. L/S of the brave man disappearing underwater. Bubbles float to the surface. He resurface carrying a wooden chair.
