Steve Donaghue is the first to be introduced. Follow Gordon Richards and Michael Beary, then he introduces a racing character who he calls "Old Kate" and speaks to her. Jockeys mounting ponies. Various shots of the race which is run over three furlongs - crowd watching. The winner is 'Stand at Ease'. Various shots of Stand at Ease and jockey Eph Smith after the race.
