M/S as she walks up to a bench, on top of it is a vanity case and her coat. She puts the bucket down and picks up the other items. L/S of Maureen walking across a bridge, a dog runs along in front of her. A farmhouse and some trees are in the background. The narrator says Maureen is a travelling beautician and hairdresser and her business covers 360 square miles. M/S of Maureen putting the case in the back of a van, she also puts in a portable version of the large hairdryers found in hair salons. She closes the door and gets in the van. L/S of her van driving off, the camera follows the van over the roads through Dartmoor. L/S of Maureen driving over a bridge towards the camera. C/U profile of her in the van. L/S as she drives into a farmyard, the farmer, Cuthbert Scott, waves at her. He is sawing wood. M/S as she comes to a stop and gets out. L/S as she gets out and goes round to open the van doors, Cuthbert is sawing in the foreground.
