Full title reads: "Darlington v. Terrys - Women's Football Match".

    Durham.

Two teams of women enter the pitch (Darlington are in stripes). A man in plus fours - some sort of dignitaries - tosses the coin and starts the match. Various shots of the match. The Terry's team score goal in first half.

Various shots of Darlington girls during half time; sucking oranges, having legs massaged and being rubbed with damp sponges.

More shots of football match. A large crowd watches from sidelines. Darlington win 3 goals to 2.

Narrator makes lots of saucy comments - calling girls 'cats' and 'little darlings'!

Note from the picture at 00:25 that the game is being played on a rugby pitch, (the goals being used are therefore rugby goals rather than football goals).

"Narrator makes lots of saucy comments - calling girls 'cats' and 'little darlings'!" - in fairness to the narrator, he actually calls them "Little Darlingtons" (not much better I know, but slightly!).
