Comedian Ronald Frankau introduces Danny Lipton and two girls. He says he taught Danny Lipton all he knows and takes off his hat and jacket before doing a clumsy 'shave and a haircut, two bob' step. Panting, Frankau puts on his hat and takes his jacket, then walks off (probably from a later compilation).
Cut to various shots of the Danny Lipton Trio (Danny and two girls) doing a very fast tap dance. The girls (a blonde and a brunette) wear shiny dresses with black hats and gauntlets and Danny wears a flouncy satin shirt and black trousers.
The music stops and Danny does a bit on his own, then the girls do their own bit. Back to the music for another burst of fast tap dancing, then the music slows and Danny leaps over a skipping rope turned by the two girls, landing on his knees - ouch!
Music is 'Round Regent Street' by Flanagan and Nichols.
Cataloguer's note: one of these lovely ladies (think it is the brunette) is Betty Clarkson.
