  • Description

Possibly filmed at the Challenge Cup Competition, Chiltern Court, London.

Introductory intertitle reads: "Lots of men grumble about the daily shave" followed by short shot of man shaving. "But, what would Adam think about Eve's problem - the eternal chase to keep up with the fashionable coiffure of the moment."

There follows several shots of what looks like a hairdressing show or competition. Women sit side by side and have their hair washed, brushed, permed (weird looking perming devices) and dried under large helmet style hairdryers. One woman sips a cup of tea while her hair dries.

Various hairstyles are displayed for the camera - a couple in C/U. Nice waved short cuts with kiss curls.

Verbal warfare at its best. Here are some of history's greatest retorts and snarling insults. These people certainly didn't mince their words!
