Perfect little film about the stages of a romance. Very cute. Shows how body language can tell a story - we never see the faces of the protagonists.
C/U of woman's legs as she sits on a chair in the park. A man walks past and sits beside her on another chair. He is wearing a pinstriped suit and spats. He has a walking cane. We see the woman pull her skirt down a little and turn her legs away from him. She "accidentally" drops her handbag. They both go to pick it up and their hands touch. She takes the handbag and puts it on her lap. The couple turn their knees towards each other and the man shuffles his chair over to get a little closer. The woman moves her legs around in little excited movements and fiddles with her parasol! She turns her knees away and then back again. They both stand up and the woman leans towards the man with one of her feet on tiptoe (presumably they kiss.) They walk off screen. L/S of their legs as they walk towards the camera then off screen.
"Ten minutes later - " The couple sit down on same fold out chairs as before, but this time at a small table. A man's legs approach and stand between them behind the table. C/U of the table and the hands of our couple. She pours some tea. C/U of their hands and legs as they feed some birds. He holds her hand. "Ten days later - " C/U of our suited gentleman's torso. He holds a cane and looks at his watch. He holds his gloves in one hand and a few roses in the other. He moves around impatiently. A woman comes into shot in a black dress and shakes his hand. He gives her the flowers and they walk off together. "Ten years later - " L/S of a pram being pushed towards the camera. Our couple walk past with two children in tow! "And the moral? We leave it to you."
