L/S Crowd gathered outside the Belgian Embassy. M/S Police pushing mob back. Man arguing and shouting at policeman. M/S Man is pushed away by the police still arguing and shouting. M/S Pan the crowd yelling and chanting as they try to push their way into the embassy. L/S Police manage to push the crowd away.

L/S Mr. Adlai Stevenson speaking. L/S Adlai Stevenson speaking he says, "The United States Government believes proudly that the single best and only hope of the peoples of the World for peace and security lies in the United Nations". His speech ends and riot noise comes in over the rest of his speech. L/S Pan, members of the Assembly stand up as coloured people start fighting with guards in the gallery. L/S Mr. Hammarskjold watching. L/S Guards still fighting with some of the coloured people and a woman screaming.
