    The Duke of Connaught inspects a line up of men in civvies they are all carrying flags. High angle shot of the Duke shaking hands with one of the men.

    The Prince of Wales is speaking about the Duke - 'The best old comrade we have'. A man stands in front of a Grandstand with a Trophy. Cut away to crowd seated in field in front of stand. Duke of Connaught is speaking at the microphone behind the man with the trophy. The Prince of Wales (later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor) is the man in the light suit lounging in the chair to the left of Connaught. Another cut away to the crowd. Men in the crowd give three cheers.

    The Prince of Wales stands in front of the microphone. The crowd give him three cheers. The Prince and the Duke are seen in profile standing together in the box.

    Men of the Royal British Legion march around the show ground. A military band is heard in the background.
